Sakuya is singing in a hotel and starts attracting fans. Yuki and Santa are in a band called Climb but Santa's girlfriend Yumi starts flirting with a different band member. Yuki and Santa leave their band Climb and have Sakuya join as the singer. They name their band Lucifer.

Yuki and Santa want Sakuya to join their new band but he declines, although they are able to get Atsuro and Towa to join.

Into the Wind

Aired: May 04, 1999

Sakuya is asked by Atsuro, Towa, Yuki and Santa to join Lucifer but they get rejected again, But Kudo from a band called Radical tries to recruit Sakuya and he is interested but tells him that he is expensive. The other Lucifer members keep trying, but then Sakuya does agree to be their band singer.

Lucifer enjoys playing at live concerts and they get many fans. Atsuro's sister Yuuka goes along with them and she helps with ticket sales and to promote them. Sakuya still likes to sing at the hotel and talking with women. Sakuya likes to be a band member but that's it. The other members are afraid he will leave if he is pushed too hard.

Sakuya has stood Lucifer up for too long. The band continues to do it's music rehearsals but the band's enthusiasm is low due to Sakuya telling them that he doesn't care about the other band members dreams. When he meets a beautiful woman and finds out she is married and her husband attacks Sakuya.

The Cradle, where Lucifer played their first live gig is about to close and the band members without Sakuya go there, but he shows up eventually, they play a live show there.

Everyone that Lucifer had invited helps decorate The Cradle for the final show.

Aired: June 15, 1999

When someone insults Lucifer during a live performance, Sakuya starts a fight. Everybody involved is arrested, they get bailed out by Atsuro and Yuki's father. Lucifer finds out they are banned from the live club. Sakuya says he's going to leave the group.

Yuki tells the band members about Sakuya singing in the street. Yuuka says they should enter a contest but Santa is not interested due to not having a singer.

Sakuya has finished writing his song and Yuuka rents a recording studio. The band decides to use the song for the contest. Atsuro gets kicked out of the house for telling his family he wants to be a musician.

Atsuro dyes his hair red and the other members laugh but he says it for determination. The band finds the competition invitation in the garbage bin.

Yuki tell s his band members he is going to Kyoko due to his father and the band tries to adapt their song for only four members.

Aired: August 03, 1999

Yuki does his part perfectly in the Noh drama and goes to Tokyo. Lucifer plays in the contest but only comes in second place.

The band obtains a minibus and goes to Hakodate. The band finds out that no venues want them so they play live in the streets. A crowd gathers and someone offers to lend them a venue to play at.

Yuki and Yuuka try to find a club at play at but fail, The band sees another local band called 'Feel' play and like them. They try to get to be a supporting act for a band called 'Woods Black'.

When Lucifer gets to Osaka, a local bar agrees to let them perform. The band mates get in a fight.

The band goes back to Tokyo and on their way there, they remember they were going to do a national live tour. but when a typhoon shows up they have to brave the storm.

Lucifer meets with a businessman named Sasaki who is a record producer, he gives them a official music deal.

Sakuya gets put into surgery, his heart stops and he has a dream that he not needed anymore. His heart then starts beating again as everyone is relived to see this. Aine gets beat up.
