Five days in and around the Cardiff area begin with Suzanne from Caerphilly, a no-nonsense businesswoman who sleeps with a baseball bat next to her bed. She offers her guests food they may not have tried before - including lamb testicles.

E4 - Cardiff, Annette Howard

The first night in Cardiff saw everyone get along - except with outspoken "psychic" Annette. Unfortunately, Annette is the host of the second night, and her food arrives two hours late. Will her gift of crystals improve her chances?

E5 - Cardiff, Jim Blythe

Aired: January 02, 2008

Former seaman Jim introduces the group to some exotic foodstuff, including an ingredient that can be poisonous if not correctly cooked. However, a relaxed evening is once again disrupted by Annette, this time arguing with Jane.

E6 - Cardiff, Charlie Balch

Aired: January 03, 2008

Postman Charlie hosts the fourth night in Cardiff, and introduces the group to his love of organic food. Although Annette arrives in a bad mood and there's initially an atmosphere, for once an evening manages to go smoothly.

E7 - Cardiff, Jane Lloyd

The final night in a week of simmering tensions sees troublesome Annette repeatedly leave the table and eat her dessert alone. Four years later it would make the top ten moments in the "Come Dine with Me Top 30" special.
