It's a year today since Charlie's wife died and the whole Slater family are thinking of what she meant to them. Peggy buys Frank a new mobile phone so they can be in constant touch. Barry returns from the hospital - he really did have high blood pressure. Mo tells Pat that she knows about Frank. The debt collector frightens Laura at Ian's house. Sandra starts packing to go with Jack but Joe wants to go to Leicester with Beppe. Sandra asks Beppe for money and he signs a blank cheque which she makes out for £1000. Beppe listens to the tape Sandra's given him in the car and decides to turn back. Sandra is waiting for Jack but its Beppe who arrives.

Beppe is shocked to discover what Sandra is scheming. Meanwhile, Pat tells Frank that she is leaving.
